The Location

Nestled amid the picturesque hills of Tuscany, renowned for their verdant vineyards and flourishing olive groves, our newly transformed Signature Collection farmhouse serves as a testament to the region's rich agricultural heritage. In the province of Pistoia, the home is ideally placed, just moments from the storied town of Montecatini Terme - one of Europe's original spa towns – and between the fabled cities of Lucca and Florence.

Despite its proximity to northern Tuscany’s finest urban centres, the home itself is an oasis of tranquillity. Set in rolling countryside above the ancient town of Cozzile, it commands endless views from every vantage point, seamlessly connecting homeowners to the timeless beauty of the region. Accessed via a winding track, the home’s arrival experience adds to its character, fostering a feeling of exclusivity in the heart of the Tuscan hills.

The Home

Embracing its rural setting, the five-bedroom home seamlessly blends elements of a traditional Tuscan farmhouse with a touch of modern luxury. Rich with original architectural features, the renovation process was meticulous, preserving the building’s original stone detailing, wooden ceiling beams, and terracotta floor tiles, to retain its authentic charm.

These historical elements are thoughtfully combined with contemporary amenities for effortless Italian living. State-of-the-art appliances and energy-efficient systems enhance the storied architectural character, creating a home that offers a journey through past to present.

Living

On the home’s ground floor, classic archways seamlessly link a series of airy, versatile spaces designed for socalising. Picture windows framed by soft drapes bathe the rooms in natural light, while a muted palette of neutral hues and layering of earthy textures allow the home’s original splendour to shine.

Accessed through a bright entrance hall, two interconnected lounges bring homeowners together, offering ample space for both children to play and adults to relax, without compromising on comfort. At the heart of the home lies a large dining room - an inviting central hub with an authentic stone fireplace, traditional wooden ceiling beams, and seating for up to ten guests. In the corner, a curated bar trolley and selection of games keeps families entertained all evening long.

At the end of the home, the farmhouse-style kitchen has been renovated with new oak cabinetry and equipped with high-spec appliances, perfect for preparing al fresco family lunches. Completing the downstairs space is an additional toilet and laundry area discreetly tucked away, embodying the August ethos - a dedication to both style and practicality.
