Inspirations behind the designs of our Provence home

Right on the edge of Mougins, this village sought after by families for its quality of life is ideally located. You’ll fall in love with the beautiful old village of Valbonne time and time again, each time spending your holidays feeling like your own piece of paradise offering total intimacy and privacy, yet just a stone’s throw from the most exclusive places in Provence.

The villa itself is so close and only five minutes away from Valbonne village where you can shop like a local and dine at one of the many famous cafés on Place des Arcades, a destination that you’re proud to take your friends and family.

Always with family and friends in mind, there are a number of entertainment areas including a bright living and dining area with a hero fireplace as well as 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a TV room/extra bedroom. Moving outside sees a large terrace with a summer kitchen with the villa surrounded by an impressive lush landscaped garden of 2,392 m2 and a sun-filled pool area providing you with all the privacy you need whilst on holidays. This large private charming property is big enough to host family affairs no matter the season while being easily accessible and walking distance to all amenities.

Taking design inspirations from the existing foundation, the property has incredible characteristics and many authentic features like old ‘feuillets’ (terracotta floors) so it was very a clear design decision to focus on enhancing the authentic and characterful charm of the villa’s exterior with a subtle palette of restful colours throughout and finished with highlights of the Provence colour palette, allowing us to preserve the local ascetics.

“We’re extremely excited about this home! It’s taken a while to find because we were so adamant that the home should act as a sanctuary, but also an inviting family home, sympathetic with its glorious surroundings and suitable to the needs of everyone spending time in it. This means open-plan areas for socialising and entertaining, with cosier, more intimate spaces to provide tranquility when required. Not to mention it had to be close to amenities and the airport, easy to get to. So you can only imagine how thrilled we are to add this home to the August collection and get started on the redesign and renovations!”
