Your homes are at the heart of everything we do. They are carefully handpicked to meet your high expectations and we ensure it has the 'wow' factor from the moment you first push their that main entrance door.

No matter where in the world, properties that become August holiday homes must meet many key criteria:

- located at maximum, 1.5 hours away from an international airport

- has beautiful views and surroundings

- functioning property with a lot of local charm, that is bright, has plenty communal spaces, beautiful interiors mixing old and new, great outdoor areas (terrace, garden, pool etc), new bathroom and kitchen appliances

- and of course nearby a charming local village or town

With our extensive market knowledge, we know exactly where the best homes are located (and where they aren't). However, it is often challenging to find the perfect property that meets all our requirements and at the right price. We, therefore, focus on finding properties full of potential, in the perfect location that can be updated or fully renovate up to the August standards.

Once we have assessed the property and are confident that we can transform it into a perfect charming villa, we purchase it. The renovation and interior design process will then follow.

Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain

We have selected Mallorca as one of our five August destinations as the beautiful Balearic Island of white sand beaches and soaring mountains is becoming one of the Mediterranean’s chicest holiday destinations. Up and down the island, locals are embracing their roots and revamping the island’s old manor houses, country estates and long-abandoned fincas (farmhouses), into refined rural retreats. We have personally fallen for the quiet charm of Mallorca’s inland among the olive, carob and almond groves. You will be seduced by its secluded villages, the relaxed way of life, the endless sunny afternoons and the picturesque locations between a densely pined hillside and the glimmering Mediterranean Sea.

The villages of Soller, Puigpunyent, Deia and Valldemossa are some of our favourites in terms of convenience and the variety of activities they offer. These inland towns in the mountainous north-west of the island offer the best of both worlds - set on a gentle rise, these villages insist on aimless wandering and offer easy access to both the sea and inland. All less than 30 minutes from the airport and perfectly located to explore the island. The valley and the surrounding mountains, “The Tramuntana Sierra”, are the favourite resort of people from all over the world, especially those who enjoy nature and cycling.

In order to obtain both space and a great outdoor area, we focus on finding a traditional Mallorcan stone house ‘finca’ to renovate, conveniently located close to a village and the sea. We are looking for a 3 to 4 bedroom property, with great outdoor and location - a must, a private pool and of course, we need to space for an outdoor kitchen and dining area to enjoy.

This is an example of a renovation project in Mallorca where the focus was on finding a house full of potential, walking distance to a village that we could turn into a gorgeous holiday home blending the original Balearic charm with Scandinavian style.

The property, 15 minutes from the airport of Palma, has been designed to combine

Mallorquín laid-back style with Scandinavian influences. The villa is spaciously laid out to include a large open plan living room with separate lounge area and fireplace. The stylish dining room is adjacent to a fully equipped modern kitchen with views on to the sunny garden. The private swimming pool together with lovely terraces provide abundant seating areas and is complemented by an outdoor dining area equipped with an external kitchen and BBQ. A fantastic place to relax with a cold drink and enjoy the tropical garden, lemon trees and mountain views.
