The air extractor has 3 switches:

1) On/Off switch to turn on the light

2) On/Off switch to turn on the extractor fan

3) Different extractor fan levels from low to high

If the extractor doesn't turn on, please check the isolator switch inside the cupboard to the right of the stove.

How to get there
Your apartment is located in the lovely Gracia neighbourhood, very close to Eixample.
Its access is very easy with a taxi as well as public transports.

Please note that Uber doesn’t operate in Barcelona, there are many Taxis in the streets but you can also use “FREE NOW Barcelona” app to book taxis in the city.

We also recommend you use “Citymapper” if you want to find itineraries via public transports.

Access to the home
Once you arrive in front of your August home, use your key to enter the building.
Go up two floors with the stairs or press “1” in the elevator. You can read “Primero” on the wall in front of the elevator.
Your apartment is the door ‘2’ on your right.

Intercom
The intercom to the apartment is “1o2a”.
From the apartment, the intercom is right next to the door: you can answer your guests and open the door by pressing the key button.

Key Collection Point:

August has a partnership with KeyNest and you can drop off your keys at the following address which is a 19 minute walk from the apartment or a 5 - 10 minute drive. If you are getting a taxi, most will drive past this however please mention it to the driver.

Pedestrian Access

Please contact the August team or your property manager if you have any doubts about your check-in or if you are checking in outside of the key nest opening times.

The main entrance is the green gate with the numbers “41 - 43 - 45” displayed to the right of the gate. 

The electric fob can then be used on the magnetic keypad on the bottom of the intercom to the right of the gate. 

Enter the block directly in front of you and head straight on to the door on the right. Use your magnetic fob again on the gold intercom to the right of this doorway to gain entry to the foyer to the lifts. 

Once in the lift press “5” to head to the fifth floor. Your home is number 53, you should pull the door towards you whilst unlocking the key to unlock the door to your apartment.

Intercom

The intercom is next to the apartment entrance, simply answer the phone to talk with the person at the gate. To open the first gate, press the first button on the bottom, then the key button. When you open the door, communication stops, so make sure you provide all necessary information before unlocking the doors.

How to get there

Enter the exact address into Waze or Google Maps and you will be directed right to your house.

If you’re approaching from the nearest train station, Charlbury, follow the Minster Riding street to its end. Once you pass the Old Swan pub (this should be on your left), Minster Riding goes slightly on the right. At its end, turn right onto School Hill and drive up the hill. The Cottages will be on your right, clearly labelled ‘The Cottages’ to the left of the large wooden access gate.

If you’re approaching from Burford Road, ignore signs to Little Minster and take the next left signposted “Mister Lovell”. Follow this road down the hill and at the junction, with a bridge to your right, go straight ahead. The Cottages is the second house on the right up School Lane.


How to get into your home

Follow the path down to the front door once you’ve entered the garden.
On the left of the building you will find a black lockbox.

Please keep in mind that the top lock is a safe lock that automatically locks when you leave. When going out in the front garden, always have a key with you in case the door locks.

Please always leave the terrace door key by the TV in the living room at your departure. We also recommend keeping it in here at night.

How to get there

You will find the address easily when entering the address into a GPS. We suggest arriving during daylight hours whenever possible and driving slowly through the roads. While the roads are safe, they can be a bit challenging to navigate, especially if you're not accustomed to driving on narrower country roads.

Access to the home

Once you arrive in front of your August home, you can find the key box on the top left of the wooden gate.

Key code is 0602

On the keys, there is your house key and your gate remote. Press the button on the gate remote to open the gate. Please be aware that your gate opens towards you so make sure to give the gate a little space on arrival. 

Once the light is flashing the gate will open. The door opening is also a little slow, so please press the remote once and wait until the door is fully open before entering to avoid malfunctioning the gate. 

Please always make sure to leave one remote control in the lockbox before leaving the house. The gardener and pool maintenance companies need it to access the garden during the week.

Take the stairs on the left of the house to reach the entrance door.

Sets of keys: One in the lock box and one on the entrance table. A key set includes one front door key and a gate remote.

Access the apartment

The main entrance from the street is the large green gate labelled “70-76”.

Use the magnetic key under the key pad to open the pedestrian door, or the first button to open the gates to enter with a car.

If driving, follow the road to the left where there is ample visitor parking. To park your car in the underground car park you will need to go to retrieve the remote from the apartment.

Go to the building entrance marked 76. As you enter from the street through the green gates, the path is ahead of you, slightly to your left. Use the small key to open the glass door and walk up one flight of steps to the 1st floor. The apartment door is on your right. The large key will open this door.

There is also lift access, if you use the lift, go to floor 1 and it is the door on your left as you exit.

Access your home

When you are in chemin Rene Payot, continue to the building entrance (number 115, building II).

The first building door is open during the day. At night, you can open it with your building key or with the code 1974.

Open the second building door with your building key.

Take either the stairs or the lift to the first floor. The apartment is the last door on your left when getting out of the elevator.

The house is in a “residents only” street: you can drive up to the house to drop off you bags, luggages or even groceries.

However, you cannot park in the street.

Access to the home

Once you arrive in front of your August home, press the code: 0601A to open the gate and access the parking space.

You have one classic key to open the house door. Inside the house, you will also find a remote control, to open the gate and a small key next to each garden door.

Please always make sure to leave the remote control in the Halley drawer before leaving the house, so garden and pool maintenance team can access the property without disturbing your stay.

‍How to get there‍

We recommend you choose a small or middle sized car rather than a SUV as Tuscany roads can be very steep.

Rather than the address, we recommend you enter these coordinates into to your GPS: 43.90684479091391, 10.633408175919175

Otherwise, first go to Petrognano, Campannori LU: From Lucca and Pisa, GPS and apps will take you to Petrognano via Tofoni, this is a very narrow and bendy two-way road itinerary. We highly recommend that you go up to Petrognano via San Gennaro.

You will  get to S. Pietro Apostolo church in the center of Petrognano. From the church, take a sharp turn onto via Delle Case Alte. From here, despite the beautiful views, please know the road is narrow and bendy up to the house.

You will cross two forks on the road:
- 1st fork: Keep right on a white stones road

- 2nd fork: Keep left into a vegetated road

You will arrive in front of your property: it is the very last on the road.

Key box‍

To enter your home, first go through the gate that will always be opened: if not, you can pull the handle from outside through the grid of the door.

On the gate's left column coming in, you will find a key box.

Code is 5501.

Please note that there is no handle on the house's main entrance: you always need your key.

We strongly advise you always leave you key on the door when outside or you would risk locking yourself out.

How to get there

Your August home in Chamonix is located on the pedestrian street of Av Ravanel le Rouge.

You can park your car and walk to your building - 73 Ravanel le Rouge, apartment five and on the second floor.

The building is located right next to the “little Casino” (approximately 1-minute walking distance).

Once in the house, collect the white card and the magnetic key from the wooden board in the kitchen. The card will give you access to the pedestrian area, whilst the magnetic key will allow you to enter the residential garage and use your parking space.

One key to access the residence building and a second key to open your August home

Once in the apartment, you will find:

• A white card to swipe at the barrier of the pedestrian street of Chamonix village, a one-minute walking distance from your home; and

• A magnetic key that opens the garage and allows access to the building through the main entrance.

• Two additional keys that will open the ski storage and the mailbox. Upon departure, please remember to leave all the keys found in the apartment on the wooden board, in the kitchen.

Extra keys

Extra sets of keys are left available in the centre drawer of the wooden sideboard on your right when entering the house.

When you arrive at the address, the garage door to the underground car park is just before the Axa building. There is pedestrian access to the underground parking via a door to the right of the car entrance, there is a keypad next to the door. See photo, the door is circled and the keypad is right next to it.

The parking space is #51. To find this, when you enter the car park, walk straight through the door and take the first right, continue to the end, you will see the parking space ahead of you on your right.

The key box is installed on the back wall next to the electric charging point.

Go through the door on your left if your back is to the parking space. Go through the door and you will see the elevator on your right.

Your apartment is directly on your left as you come out of the elevator.

Open the gate with the remote, you need to be quite close for the signal it to be detected.

Continue up the road and you will arrive on the parking space in front of the pool.

Your set of key gives you access to the main entrance door. To access it, continue past the veranda and you will get to the entrance wooden door on your left.

When putting them into the app - Select navigate to and select the navigation app you would prefer.

Access your home

The main door access is round the front of the house. There is a secondary door, should you wish to use it close to the parking. This leads into a bedroom downstairs. This will be however be bolt locked internally so first access will need to be through the main entrance.

Your set of key gives you access to the main entrance door.

When putting "Podere le Rondini" in Google maps, you will be able to find your home. However, the GPS won't give you the right itinerary. We recommend you follow the following steps to get there.

Follow the gps until you get to this junction with the coordinates 43.9191431,10.7292886 on google maps. Take the left road.

Follow the left road and continue down until you reach the very end of the road. You will see a black double gate. This is the entrance to your home and your house name “Podere le Rondini” is written on an sign on the left of the gate.

How to get there

The building entrance is right on the intersection between Carrer de Londres and Carrer de Casanova.

It is the entrance to two adjoining buildings.

Access your apartment

For your first arrival, your property manager will give you access to your apartment in person.

Once you passed the building main door, go up the first stairs and turn left: you will find the elevator or stairs to go up to your apartment.
In the elevator, press 1. The apartment door is on your left coming out of the elevator: door 2.

Your apartment is equipped with a connected lock: your property manager can give you a QR code to access your apartment. To open the door, put the QR code in front of the cell on the left of the door. You will hear the door clicking. Once the door is unlocked, simply push it to get inside.
The August team is working on having classic keys cut for the apartment door.

During office hours, a concierge stays at the entrance of the building and leaves the main building door open: you can go past reception without a key.
Office hours - Monday to Friday:
- 9am to 2pm
- 4pm to 7pm
Out of these hours, please use the front door keys available in your apartment.

How to get there

Using the address in your Sat Nav will take you to the property, but it may try to take you up an off road (4x4 only) track for the final stretch. This is not necessary, there is a paved road to take you the whole way to the property which we highly recommend you use to get there. See below instructions.

- Coming from Combloux/ Megeve or the South

Make sure you take the route via Le Bouchet and NOT Le Pelloux.

- Coming from the A40/ Sallanches/ Geneva/ Chamonix
Follow the Sat Nav to 47 Rte de Nant Cruy/ co-ordinates 45°55'06.9"N 6°37'43.1"E.
When you get here, continue along Anc Rte de Combloux and take the next right onto Rte de Nant Cruy

Once you are on Rte de Nant Cruy, you can enter the property address into the Sat Nav, 616 Rte de Bourgeois, and it should re-route you to the property via the paved roads, or continue following these instructions.

Follow Rte de Nant Cruy for 2km until you reach the left turn onto Rte de Barthoud (45°54'53.7"N 6°36'50.0"E).

Continue along this road for 1.5km until the right turn onto Rte de Bourgeois, the road is opposite 448 Rte de la Combe.

Your property is 150-metres up this hill on your left. You will see the barrier ahead of you.

Access your home

There is a barrier to access the property private road. The keypad is on the left as you drive up to the barrier, between the letter boxes

Drive through, keep to the right and past a house to your left, the property is straight ahead.

The front door key will be located in the key box which is on a pillar opposite the front door.

Access your home

The building entrance is a big red door.
Code is "bell 3679 bell"

Enter the small courtyard and go to the first door on your left (building B).

Take the elevator or the stairs up to the 1rst floor:
- out of the elevator, the apartment door is on your very right coming out
- with the stairs, pull the fireproof door on the right.

The apartment door is right after. Note that the fireproof door shuts quite heavily.

A key box is available on the left of the entrance door.

Key box code is 4772.

Please note the lock can be a little difficult to open. If so: pull the door to you while turning the key in the lock.
