Duomo Square is home to the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral - otherwise known as the Florence Duomo.Designed by Arnolfo di Cambio, it is the world’s third largest church after St. Peter’s in Rome and St. Paul’s in London. At its time of completion, it was the biggest church in the world.
