Take a walk along the River Arno, Pisa. The River Arno is one of Italy’s major rivers, and Pisa was built around it. This river runs for 241 kilometres and gets its water from Mount Falterona. The Arno section that runs through Pisa has a truly beautiful landscape and is a fantastic place to simply take a stroll. With views comparable to the Leaning Tower or the Pisa Cathedral, the earth-tone palazzi on the river’s banks and the mountains in the distance are breathtaking. Begin your walk in Garibaldi Square, near the Ponte di Mezzo.
