Les Grands Montets is the Chamonix Valley’s largest ski resort. It spreads out above Argentière, an 8-kilometer-high townin Chamonix Mont-Blanc. The Grands Montets top is 3,295 metres high. This novice ski slope is located on the Plateau de Lognan and provides three different types of ski terrain:1) Lower mountain region, between Argentière Village (1,325 m) and Lognan’s main station (1,972m)2) From Lognan to Bochard, mixed alpine terrain (2,765m)3) Higher alpine terrain (including the Argentière glacier), reaching 3,275m
